Ingredients

  • 2 ears grilled corn, kernels removed

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 2 tsp kosher salt

  • ¼ cup pickled red onion

  • 1 tbsp cilantro, finely chopped

  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice

  • 1.5 lbs ground turkey meat, formed into 6-inch patties

  • 8 slices Tillamook Smoked Medium Cheddar Slices

  • ¼ cup Tillamook Cultured Sour Cream

  • 1 avocado, cut into slices

  • 2 tsp taco seasoning

Share:
  • While your grill heats, combine corn, garlic powder, sugar, salt, onion, cilantro and lime in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.

  • With your hands, thoroughly mix your turkey meat and taco seasoning until the seasoning is evenly distributed. Divide the seasoned turkey meat into four portions. Mold them into approximately 4-inch wide and ½-inch thick patties and set aside on a tray lined with parchment paper.

  • Once grill is heated, cook each turkey patty for 6 minutes per side and flip.  Stack two slices of Tillamook Smoked Medium Cheddar Slices over each patty and partially close the grill’s lid for two minutes to allow for maximum melting.

  • Remove each patty from the grill and let it cool for five minutes.

  • Now build your burger. Spread a layer of sour cream on the bottom bun, add the turkey patty, layer four slices of avocado on top and a generous spoonful of corn salsa.

  • Serve and enjoy.
